Ardex Funds was founded in 2008 by Mark B. Kaufman, Jr. as a way to affirm his belief in disciplined, fundamental equity for well diversified businesses that range from Industrial, Trading, Real Estate to Financial Services. Ardex Funds concentrates its activities in all parts of the world, with offices in Republic of Seychelles. It is registered with an AAA International Services LTD. agent of Global Gateway 8, Rue de la Perle, Providence, Mahe, Seychelles.

Ardex Funds applies a strict code of ethics upon all of its employees, directors and board members. The prompt internal reporting of violations; and accountability for adherence to the Standard Code of Ethics.
President Mark B. Kaufman, Jr. is a graduate of Harvard University's Business School and a PhD in Engineering graduate of Purdue University, Dr. M. Jefferson holds the position of Chairman and CEO. His main responsibility is to set the Company’s overall strategies and supervise their implementation.
Janet A. Birgham is an Executive Vice President - Director of Research.
In addition to her role as Director of Research, Ms. Eide is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Risk Committee, and actively covers the software and internet sectors. Ms. Eide joined Ardex Funds in 2009 as an equity analyst, and was named Director of Research in 2010. Before joining Ardex Funds, Ms. Eide was an audit manager at Ernst & Leich in the securities and commodities division, where she served a number of multinational and domestic securities, commodities and hedge fund clients. Ms. Eide graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from Boston College and received her M.B.A., with distinction, from Harvard Business School.
Bjarne Rasmussen has served as Senior Vice President of Ardex Funds since 2008. He has 25 years of experience in the development, leasing, management and brokerage of commercial real estate and has been an advisor to commercial real estate investors for more than 15 years.
Bjarne is also active in the commercial real estate community and achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member and the Certified Property Manager designations and is a member of both organizations’ local chapters. He is also a member of Washington’s Independent Commercial Broker’s Association. Mr. Bjarne Rasmussen graduated in 1990 with an MBA, and in 1985 with a BBA, both from the University of Washington at Seattle. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of the Incarnate Word where he teaches finance and marketing courses in the College of Business.
Brian S. Walker joined Ardex Funds in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager of equity investments. He is currently a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Ardex, Mr. Walker was employed by Richard Moulton Investment Management, where he held a number of different roles in portfolio management and analysis, most recently as Co-Manager of the Dividend Growth Securities Fund. Before joining Richard Moulton, he served as an analyst on the global large cap equity team at Rockefeller & Co. and as a manager in the Treasury Division of San Antonio. Mr. Walker earned a BS in biology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from University of Pittsburgh, and was awarded a CFA charter in 1995.
